An accident concerning a yacht hitting a bridge in Miami reveals a mystery, when it's discovered the man at the helm was shot moments before the boat slammed into the bridge. An investigation uncovers a kidnapping and ransom plot involving the victim's son and in fact the dead man was on his way to pay off the kidnappers with 3 million dollars worth of jewels. Details are uncovered that the jewels were fake and that the team may be in danger, or even killed.

A woman is killed during a party at a Star Island estate when a man opens fire on the proceedings from a cigarette boat.
